The first Fantasy Jam event was held on February 17, 2025 in Washington, DC. It featured 50 drummers, bass players, vocalists, and guitarists ... who had never met each other prior!

 

It was a colossal success both musically and communally. While the jam was amazing, and we learned a ton about producing this complex show, what made the event truly special was the universal positivity of the band members. The Event Producer (the guy writing this text) has never seen anything like it.

 

Despite the many starts and stops as we were figuring things out, the frustration of playing with new musicians, and the acoustic and technical difficulties, folks were beaming with enthusiasm and joy. It was a remarkable community. Truly.
